With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edythe Crout Newton of Greenville, South Carolina, born in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arler Crayton Crout and Bertha Laird Crout; her husband Dwight Albert Newton; and her sister Yvonne Crout Smith. She is survived by: her children, Mike Newton (Darlene) and Jill Weis (Greg); her grandchildren, Rebecca Wade (Daniel) and Ross Perry; her niece Marilyn Wetherington (Rick); her nephews, Bill Smith and Jim Smith (Libby); and her pet Woody.
