She was predeceased by: her parents, Garfield Owens and Sarah Frances Brownlee Josey; and her husband Otis John Johnson, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Otis Johnson, Jr. of Greenville, SC and Donnell Johnson of Greenville, SC; her siblings, Elder Barbara A. Josey of Greenville, SC, James Brownlee (Helen) of Greenville, SC, Willie Brownlee of Greenville, SC and Richard Josey (Rosa) of Greenville, SC; and her grandchildren, Tesha Rector (Otis), Dante J. Gilliard, Tierra Johnson and Reamont Butler. She is also survived by nieces; nephew; a host of other relatives and friends.
