She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Frank Williams and Janie Dilleshaw Williams; her husband John Samuel Elmore; and her son John S. Elmore, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Vickie Elmore (Roy) of Greer. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 8 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Doris's memory may be made to Lickville Presbyterian Church, 10020 Augusta Rd., Pelzer, SC 29669, or St. Jude.
