She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Elswick and Fray Elswick; her daughters, Kristin Anne Regan and Shawn Dersch; her sister Sharon Yoder; and her siblings-in-law, Rosalie Regan and Bruce Scheib.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel; her children, Laura Dersch Jones (Gary) and Jeffrey Dersch (Cathy); her grandchildren, Evin Murphy (Daniel Ekonomo) and Megan Murphy; her niece Amanda Yoder (Luis); her siblings-in-law, Edward Regan, Charles Regan (Kim), Annette Scheib, Mary Kay Gee, Rose Welchans and Connie Greenleaf (Steve); her close friend Debby Sharp Golden; and her pet Speed.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (2252 Woodruff Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681).
When Donna was orphaned at 13 years she attended Berea Foundation Boarding School in Berea, Kentucky, and then graduated from South High School, Columbus, Ohio.
