It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Smith (Greenville, South Carolina), who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Smith and Myrtle Smith of Woodruff, SC; and his siblings, Kathryn Finley, Mary Holden and James Harold Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Carnell Smith; his daughters, Stephanie Smith Rainey (Clay) of Greenville, SC and Terri Smith Hoffman (Michael) of Greenville, SC; his grandchildren, Ruth Parker Bauknight, Tres Bauknight, Katie Hoffman and Alex Hoffman; his sister-in-law Elsie Brewington (Fred) of Sevierville, TN; and his siblings, Evelyn Garrett (late Roy Garrett), Carolyn Sherbert (Jerry) of Woodruff, Bob Smith (Lucille) of Spartanburg and Charles Smith (Claudette) of Boiling Springs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
