He is survived by: his father Wallace Dean; his son Scott Dean (Scottie); his brothers, Allen C. Dean and Jerry W. Dean; his daughters-in-law, Becky Dean and Lucy Dean; his grandchildren, Josh Dean, Marsha Noll, Sarah Hill, Jacob Dean, Haley Gopalan and Michael Dean; and his great grandchild Izabella Noll.
