He was predeceased by: his father Don Tarwater; and his siblings, Donna Monthan and Ernest Tarwater. He is survived by: his wife Carol Schamm Tarwater; his sisters, Betty York of Tampa and Judy Reid of Richmond, Texas; and his brother-in-law Andrew Ford of Richmond, Texas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
