He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Garrett Patterson; his parents, Gould Patterson and Daisy Dean Patterson; and his siblings, Clayton, Russell, Hoyt, Cecil, Dink, Hugh Patterson, Jessie Thompson, Mozelle Smith, Grace Chapman, Jennie Merck and Mildred Merck.
He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Patterson (Teresa), Scott Patterson and Gene Patterson (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Christopher, Jordan (Joe), Molly, Graden, Henry, Rosie, Kaitlyn, Taylor (Will) and Alexis (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Teagun, Griffin, Stephen and Charlie.
In honor of his memory, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, attendees bring new, unwrapped toys to benefit local children during this Christmas season.
