She was predeceased by: her parents, William Payne and Nobie Payne; her spouse Dewey J. Stover Jr.; her children, Thomas E. Stover, Boyce R. Stover and Sandra Kay Stover; and her siblings, Jasper Payne, Allie Bickford and Ruby Martin.
She is survived by: her children, David Wayne Stover, Carolyn J. Owens (Junior), Debra A. Wright and Brenda J. Miller. She is also survived by eight grandchildren 15 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, and one sister.
