It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Anderson of Greenville, South Carolina, born in Lapeer, Michigan, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Luther and Madelyn Kingbury Anderson; his former wife Ann Anderson; his wife Shirley Anderson; his brother Jerry Anderson; and his grandson Brooks Griffith.

He is survived by: his children, Jean Thomas of Greenville, Lauren Hunt of Greenville, Andy Anderson of Greenville, Billy Anderson of Greenville, Bobby Griffith (Bonnie) of Greenville, Steve Griffith of Greenville, Warren Griffith (Jesslyn) of Greenville and Leslie Collins (David) of Greenville; and his sister Karen K. Bishop of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

“I was unable to attend due to being exposed to someone that tested positive for C19. I am sad about that, but I am very happy that God allowed my path and Dean's path to cross. I know him from Mitchell Road. I later married and my husband and I went to a different church. He and I reconnected through the Logos board! I am sending Love to you through prayers.
