He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennings Bryan (JB) and Sara Patterson McCanless. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughter Sara Margaret Fleming (James); his grandchildren, Carley Williams (Johnny) and Hunter Fleming; his brother Eddie McCanless (Gina); and his pet Cooper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
