He is survived by: his wife Kannia Frances Bishop; his children, Michael David Bishop and Gaye Bishop Clark; his sister-in-law Judy Carolyn Karsten; his grandchildren, Kristy Bishop, Anna Elizabeth Wiggins and Nathan Clark; and his great grandchildren, Clark Jaymes "CJ" Wiggins, Zayden Wiggins, Elizabeth and Isaac Clark.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Southeast Chapel (1604 NE Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Taylors First Baptist Church Cemetery (200 W Main St, Taylors, SC 29687).
