He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Farrington; his children, Jill Layton (Kent), Dianne Mercurio (Steve Miller) of Greenville and Jay Farrington (Jenny) of San Rafael, California.; and his granddaughters, Jordan Day (Dan) of Clemson, SC, Destiny Layton of Spartanburg, SC, Sydney Mercurio of Atlanta, Georgia and Sienna Mercurio of Tallahassee, Florida..
