He was predeceased by: his spouse Willie Johnson; his parents, Clayton Henry and Lona Pace Johnson; his children, Randy Johnson, James Johnson, Roger Johnson and Sherryl Dowling; his brothers, John Johnson and Arthur Johnson; and his great-grandparent Ransom Taylor "Bud" Pace.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Johnson (Aaron Landreth); his stepchildren, Melinda Fuller and Rodney Fuller; his grandchildren, Chase Blankenship (Rachel), Clayton Johnson (Sarah), Cameron Johnson, Anna Johnson and Brandon Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Luke, Logan and Charlotte Blankenship. He is also survived by three nieces; and one nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (3931 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
