It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Gary Barton (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Huntington Park, California, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Barton and Eunice McCurley Barton; his sister Mary Lou Tate; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Tate, Huey Batson, W. G. Ricks and Linda Blum-Barton.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl S. Barton; his sons, Allan Barton and Jeff Barton (Rachel Barton); his grandchildren, Aaron Barton and Brianna Barton; and his siblings, Judy Batson Ricks and Toby Ray Barton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
