He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Bud" Nelson and Flora Payne Nelson; and his brothers, James Ray Nelson and Earl Wayne Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Nelson; his sons, Chuck Nelson (Julie) and Barry Nelson (Lori); his grandchildren, Asher Wilde, Hunter Nelson, Bryce Nelson (Alexa), Branson Nelson (Kenzley) and Justin Nelson; and his great grandchild Theodore Nelson.
