He is survived by: his parents, Carroll B. Waddell Jr. and Joan L. Waddell; his sister Jessica W. Risko (Ben Risko); and his grandmother Sandy Waddell. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to Make a Wish South Carolina, the PKS Kids Foundation, or Prisma Health Children's Hospital.
