Carlyle Steele Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlyle Steele (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Carlyle Steele, Sr. and Connie Kennington Steele; and his son Andrew Jonathan Steele (Andy). He is survived by: his friend Day (Georgia); his son Andy; his wife Jennifer Smith Steele; his daughter Mary Kennington Steele; his son-in-law Jay Walkowski; and his grandsons, Jackson Steele Walkowski and James Carlyle Walkowski.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northside United Methodist Church, the American Cancer Society, or the Greenville County Democratic Party.
