He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Will Rogers and Bertha Mitchell Rogers; his daughters, Vanessa Garrison (Glen) of Taylors, SC, Rev. Twana Cruell (Sammy) of Taylors, SC and Angela Allen (Renoir) of Easley, SC; and his siblings, Garnell Streater of Sylva, NC and Arthur C. Rogers of Taylors, SC. He was also cherished by twenty-five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
