It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Tipton (Greenville, South Carolina), who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Tipton and Virginia Calhoun Tipton; and his siblings, Ed Calhoun, Jimmy Calhoun, Joyce Jones and Louise Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Frances Grace Tipton; his brother Keith Tipton of Bryson City, NC; his close friend Mary Lou Plumley; and his pets, Fancy and Hachi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
