He was predeceased by: his mother Corine Ellis Richardson; and his wife Vivian Mosley Richardson. He is survived by: his children, Brian Richardson, Sr. (Freda) of Waxhaw, NC and Stephanie Richardson of Fountain Inn, SC; his grandchildren, Brian Jr., Brooke, Bryson and Ryland; his godchildren, Wayne Hopkins, Daniette, Brittany and Telia Shell; his adoptive son Ricky Oglesby (Angie); and his sister Carmelita Hopkins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (400 S Hudson St, Greenville, SC 29601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
