It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty O. Patterson (Greenville, South Carolina), who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John W. Patterson; her parents, Robert Taylor Osment and Edna Lee McDaniel Osment; and her siblings, Junius Osment, J. W. Osment, Nesbitt Osment, Jack Osment, Taylor Lee Osment, Katherine O. Gibson, Evelyn O. McCraw and Geneva O. Kitchens.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Compton (Stan) of Anderson, SC, John Patterson of Greenville, SC and Traci Cooke of Greer, SC; her grandchildren, Megan Coker (Chris), Cassidy Wagner (Rob), Robbie Patterson and Reed Cooke (Allison); and her great grandchildren, Evan Coker, Colleen Wagner, Breccan Wagner and Emma Grace Coker. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
