It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Morrison Shea (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Sylacauga, Alabama, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Betty Morrison may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty Morrison touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her son Michael Rhodes (Jacki Rhodes); her stepchildren, Chris Shea (Jane Lindley), Carey Shea (Jim Wester) and Alex Lanier (Berwick); and her stepgrandchildren, Jared, Nick Shea, Erin and Jack Lanier.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Atlanta Athletic Club (1930 Bobby Jones Dr, Johns Creek, GA 30097).
