She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Edward and Maggie Moorehead Sligh; her husband Robert Lewis Simpson; her siblings, Cleo Valentine (Ben) of Easley, SC, Joseph Sligh (Mary) of Greenville, SC and Donald "Donney" Sligh (Tracy) of Greenville, SC; and her godchildren, Andre', Maurice and Stacy Sligh. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
