He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ethel Barnett, Mary Phillips, Gertrude Fuller, Kirby Tripp, Earl, Harold, George and Clyde Waldrop.

He is survived by: his wife Rosa Lee Loftis Waldrop; his children, Wanda MacCurtain (Michael) of Whitman and Robert C. Waldrop of Greenville; his granddaughters, Denise Bondi (Michael) and Meredith DeCross; and his great grandchildren, Rosalia, Anthony and Salvatore Bondi.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parisview Baptist Church, 100 Bud Street, Greenville, SC 29617.
