We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2023, at the age of 98, Alton Thomas Durham of Greenville, South Carolina, born in Burlington, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alton Thomas Durham to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles John Durham Sr. and Mary Emily Rich Durham; his wife Mary Ruth Beckom Durham; and his siblings, Mabel J. Wilkins, Bruce Carmel Durham, Edna Wallace Cates, Shrewd Rich Durham, Charles J. Durham Jr. and Ernestene P. O'Baugh.

He is survived by: his sons, Larry Neil (Debora Faulkner) of Greenville, S. C. and Daniel Charles (Pamela) of Greenville, S. C.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Alton's memory.
