She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Benson and Wilma Gaines. She is survived by: her children, James Grant of Greenville, Grady Owens of Greenville, Jasmine Benson of Greenville and Khadijah Grant of Greenville; and her siblings, Calvin Benson of Greenville, Keldrick Benson of Anderson, Tonya Benson of Greenville and Fredricka Yancy (Patrick) of Clinton Maryland. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
