She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Barker; her parents, Crayton Watson and Ilar Vaughn Watson; her granddaughter Marie Michelle Barker; and her sisters, Corrie Henley and Myrtle Sanders.

She is survived by: her children, Sherilyn Ammons (David), Deborah Hamilton (James) and James Barker; her grandsons, Jonathan Hamilton (Cynthia) and Michael Steven Barker; and her great grandchildren, Nathan Hamilton and Hunter Hamilton.
