We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2023, at the age of 60, Alan Max Myers (Greenville, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his spouse Brana Patterson Myers; his parents, Harold Max and Mary Fleming Myers; his children, Caroline Myers Southerland (Blake), Susannah Myers Lewis (Andrew) and Carter Alan Myers; his grandchildren, Elleigh, Macon Southerland, Baker and Whitaker Lewis; his siblings, Michael Myers (Karen) and Rhonda Myers Watson (David); and his nieces and nephews, Brandon Myers, Reynor Watson, Amanda Myers, Mackenzie Myers and Kaylyn Watson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to On Fire for a Cure, 7401 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611, or to Pelham Road Baptist Church (Youth Program), 1108 Pelham Rd., Suite 201, Greenville, SC 29615, https://www.pelhamroad.org, or to Berea First Baptist Church "Camp Ministry Fund", 529 Farrs Bridge Rd., Greenville, SC 29611, https://www.bereafbc.org. As was Alan's wish, his body was donated to the Willed Body Program of the USC School of Medicine in Greenville.
