It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Gail Strickland of Green Sea, South Carolina, born in Loris, South Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donnie Whittington and Armatha Fowler Whittington; her granddaughter Callie Lyn Strickland; and her siblings, Donald Whittington, LaFate Whittington, Waldo Whittington, Linda Phillips and Brenda Whittington.
She is survived by: her son Donnie Strickland (AmberLyn) of Green Sea, SC; her brother Charles Whittington (Emelia) of Green Sea, SC; and her sister-in-law Hazel Whittington of Green Sea, SC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
