He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Hartford Fowler and Alma Avant Fowler of Virginia. He is survived by: his daughters, Kayla Navvy and Rhiannon Richardson of Rhode Island; and his siblings, Tammy Kaye Fowler and Eddie Fowler of Aberdeen, NC. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
