He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Monroe and Elma Roberts Powell of Green Sea. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Mae Puckett Powell; his children, Daniel Devon Powell, Jr. (Noreen) of Columbia, SC and Michele Funderburk (Kevin) of Little River, SC.; his grandson Daniel Funderburk of Clemson, SC.; and his siblings, Thelton Powell (Cornelia) of Due West, SC, Fleetie Belle Fowler, Marguerite Williamson of Green Sea and Sarah Baumler (Richard) of Warner Robbins, Georgia.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
