He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Fowler and Macie Pait Fowler; and his brother Benjamin Fowler. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Dare Jordan Fowler; his children, Benjamin Michael Fowler (Dawn Nelson) of Green Sea, SC and Wanda Squires (Charles) of Aynor, SC; his brothers, Billy and Bobby Fowler of Concord, NC; and his grandson Blake Cole Graham (Bethany) of Conway, SC. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
