It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Azure Lee Nobles of Green Sea, South Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Azure departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Azure may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Azure leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardle Nobles and Melissie Norris Nobles; and his siblings, Ardle Theston Nobles, Mildred Horne and Evelyn Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Strickland Nobles.
