Burgess; his goddaughters, Sara Delain McClam (Spencer) of Stafford and Monique Dasher of Raleigh; his siblings, Mary Ellen Bischoff, Larry Burgess, Ollie Farrar of New Haven, June Green of Charlotte, NC, Alfonza Burgess, Leona Polite of Hamden, Annette Moore of North Haven, Julia Wilson of Hemingway, Dorothy Gregg and Sarah Hall of Lake City; and his grandchildren, Jason Hannah (Regina) of Woodbridge, Brandie McDonough (Dave) of Melbourne, James Burgess of Orangeburg, Aubrionna Morgan and Josiah Pendergrass of Greeleyville. He is also survived by one brother-in-law, three sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews.
