She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Louis Benbow, Sr.; her parents, Issac Green and Marie McClary; her granddaughter Shiquina M. Benbow; and her siblings, Levy McClary, Joseph Green, Robert Charles McClary and David Green.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Louis Benbow, Jr. (Angel) of Chicago, IL, Micheal L Benbow (Tia) of Columbia, SC, Bennie L. Benbow and Roshell B. Rouse of Kingstree, SC; her grandchildren, Andrew L. Benbow of Atlanta, GA, Diamonique M. Washington of Columbia, SC, Chauncey D. Rouse of Kingstree, SC, Keyshawn Bush, Isis Benbow, Shantasia Benbow and Malaysia Benbow; her great grandchildren, Ja'shawn Benbow and Shanevia Kennedy; her siblings, Lilie Mae Davis of Salters, SC, Issac McClary of Greeleyville, SC, Willie Green of Columbia, SC, Dorothy Mae Parker, Ella Ree Johnson and Clara-Bell Williams; and her children-in-law, Oliver Rouse and Tia Benbow.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clauddie Henryhand Memorial Chapel (1951 Thurgood Marshall Hwy, Kingstree, SC 29556). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Asia Baptist Church (197 County Rd S-45-370, Greeleyville, SC 29056).
