He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pompey and Lottie Pompey; and his sister Georgia Mae. He is survived by: his brothers, Clifford Pompey, Jasper Pompey (Vanessa), Alford Pompey (Gwen) and Jerome Pompey (Carolyn); his aunts and uncles, Geneva Johnson, Ann Jones (Archie), Lily Mellerson, Stella Robinson (Arthur), Johnny Pompey and Jeff Brown; and his cousin Lashonda Edmond. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clauddie Henryhand Memorial Chapel (1951 Thurgood Marshall Hwy, Kingstree, SC 29556). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
