He is survived by: his wife Viola Oliver Sims; his children, Julie Blackwell (Bobby) of Blackstock, Ricky Sims (Rachel) of Great Falls, Randy Sims of Chester and Kathy Payne (David) of York; and his siblings, James Sims of Kershaw, Jeannie Geddings of Manning and Sybil Pittman of Kershaw. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
