He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin McAbee and Miller Ree Stroud McAbee; his siblings, Mary Knopf, Carolyn Griffin, Minnie Rigsby and B. C. McAbee; and his stepson Dwayne Mark Blakley.
He is survived by: his wife Flora Ann Puckett McAbee; his stepchildren, Sherry Douglas (Quillon) of Great Falls and Roger Blakley (Tina) of Great Falls; and his siblings, Ruby Sellers of Great Falls, William McAbee of Great Falls and Billy McAbee of Great Falls. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephew.
