With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine Blackmon Hollis of Great Falls, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lewis Blackmon and Clara Varnadore Blackmon; her husband Jimmy Burns Hollis; her grandson Christopher Mills; and her brothers, William Blackmon and Jimmy Blackmon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Hollis of Great Falls and Debbie Mills of Great Falls; her grandchildren, Megan, D. J. Mills, Kayla, Bryan and Katlyn Coleman; and her sisters, Dorothy Ragsdale of Great Falls, Christine Morrison (Robert) of Great Falls, Irene Baker of Ridgeway and Shirley Morrison of Cheraw. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home (26 Underwood Ave, Great Falls, SC 29055). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Greenlawn Cemetery.
