Antoinette (Toni) Simpson Snead Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Antoinette (Toni) Simpson Snead of Great Falls, South Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Betts Simpson and Antoinette "Lady" Hollis Simpson; her husband Dr. Hollis P. Snead, Jr.; her siblings, Charles Betts Simpson, Jr., David George Simpson, Sr. and Annie Joe Simpson Jirel; and her siblings-in-law, Rose Burns Simpson, Nancy Simpson, Jane T. Snead, Joseph P. Snead and Robert Lee Jirel.
She is survived by: her children, Nori Snead Warren (Will) of Columbia, SC and Hollis Snead III (Kim) of Chapin, SC; her brother Col. John A. Simpson of Due West; and her sisters-in-law, Becky Snead Waldrep of Beaufort, SC and Jo Ann Simpson of Central, SC. She is also survived by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Great Falls Presbyterian Church (500 Dearborn St, Great Falls, SC 29055). A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery.
