He is survived by: his wife Martha H. Cleveland Tate; his children, Jackie T. Campbell of Greenville, SC, Tammie Tate of Greenville, SC, Tammy Robinson (Darious) of Columbia, SC, Warren F. Tate, Marcael Tate (Mena), Jerome Tate (Tarus) of Fountain Inn and Gregory Tate (Micca) of Simpsonville, SC; his siblings, Bessie Tucker of Greenwood, SC, Sarah Tate of Greenwood, SC, Macy Butler (Caper) of Wareshoals, SC, Irene Bryant of Calhoun Falls, SC, William Tate (Eunice) of Abbeville, SC, James Tate (Brenda) of Greenwood, SC, Sam Tate (Lucille) of Wareshoals, SC and John Tate of Columbia, SC; and his sister-in-law Betty Tate of Wareshoals, SC. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid, the family will receive friends at their respective homes.
