He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchel Gault Knight, Sr. and Margaret Baldwin Knight of Virginia; and his siblings, Judy Weisner, Lana Brewington and Mitchel Gault Knight, Jr..

He is survived by: his daughter Brittnie Lynn Knight; his sisters, Marilyn Barbrey of Alabama and Gaynelle Wilson (Thomas) of Laurens; and his grandchildren, Makenzie, Kasen and Gracie.
