She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Darrell Smith; her parents, Elbert Babb and Sybil Pressley Babb; her son Robert Darrell Smith; her sisters, Anita Campbell, Frances Holliday and Brenda Babb; and her stepmother Myrtie Babb.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Tumblin (Dean), Sonja Renwick (Mike), Randy Smith, Linda Gosnell (David) and Mark Smith (Donna); her siblings, Martha Moody, Gary Babb and Edgar Babb; her great grandchildren, Van, Keri, Rose, Chandler Tumblin, Heather, Brady, Weston, Colt Norris, Dayna, Chris, Renwick Brown, Alyssa Renwick, Jake and Amanda; and her granddaughter Kambrea Gosnell.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials may be made to Rabun Creek Baptist Church or to a charity of one's choice.
