With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Brewington of Gray Court, South Carolina, born in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2021 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lana Knight Brewington; and his parents, S. B. Brewington and Estelle Miller Brewington. He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Michelle Hammonds (Nate) of Anderson and Amy Margaret Hughes (Christopher David) of Laurens; his grandchildren, Michael Blake Thornley, MaKennah Brooke Thornley (Austin), Clay Davidson Hughes, Haley Alana Hughes, Khloe Elizabeth Knight and Ryder Bryson Hughes; his great grandchild Greyson Kai Thornley; and his siblings, Jerry Wayne Brewington (Charlene) of Gray Court, Patricia Love (Craig) of Blairsville, GA, Roma Lynn Alexander of Gray Court, Susan Smith of Pelzer and Peggy Cantrell of Woodruff.
