With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Judy Wood (Gray Court, South Carolina), born in Woodruff, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Judy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wright Thompson and Lou Ann Thompson; her former husband Donnie Wood; her sister Dorothy Thompson; and her great grandchild Anthony Craig Palmer.
She is survived by: her fiancé Steven Andersen; her children, Berlie Wood (Marlene), Anna Wooten (Brandon) and Donna Leopard (Frankie); and her close friend Jaxon Carter Clay of Mawmaw's Little Redheaded Stranger. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rabun Creek Baptist Church (17045 SC-101, Gray Court, SC 29645). Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rabon Creek Baptist Church (17045 SC-101, Gray Court, SC 29645).
