She was predeceased by: her parents, James Beaman and Lillian Josephine Shuler Cheek. She is survived by: her son Lance Sprouse; her significant other Robert "Rusty" Jones; her siblings, Verna Jo Carter of Gray Court, Richard Dale Cheek (Victoria) of Gray Court and William Ray Cheek (Linda) of Laurens; her grandson Leelan Jones; and her nieces and nephews, Heather Cheek, Amanda Cheek, Cathy Jo Carter, Pat Lyda (George), Alan Dale Cheek, James Cheek (Sheila), Rusty Jones, Eric Billings and Richard Carter. She is also survived by 3 great-nieces and 6 great-nephews.
