It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Clardy of Gray Court, South Carolina, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Turner and James Carter Medlin; her daughters, Martha Ellen Clardy and Ann Clardy Stone; her grandson David Lee Stone; and her siblings, Betty Bishop, Buddy Medlin, Roger Medlin, Terry Medlin, Johnny Medlin, Gary Medlin and Lynn Hood.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Clardy (Anita) and Brenda Knight (Bill); her grandchildren, Joann Davis (Jeff), Bobbie Jo Pace (Kevin), Jody Knight, Daniel Knight, Chrystal Wood (Scott), Randy Rhodes (Danae) and Amanda Knight; her siblings, Jack Medlin, Dot Smith and Becky Gee; and her close friend Joyce Hunt. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many extended family members, friends.
