She was predeceased by: her husband Eric L. Burkhalter; her parents, Hubert Raleigh Maret and Annie Cathryne Maret of Lavonia, Georgia.; and her sons, Michael A. Burkhalter and Eric G. Burkhalter.
She is survived by: her daughters, April Mack of Greenwood, Lesley Calhoun (Stanley) of Greenwood and Josephine Brown (Spencer) of Gray Court; her grandchildren, Mason Mack of Waterloo, Landon Mack of Greenwood, Taylor Moore of Hanahan, Whitney McFall (Chad) of Tavares, Lauren Stewart of Woodruff, Petty Officer Luke Cochran of Norfolk, VA and Alex Harte of Jacksonville; her great grandchildren, Racer Mack of Greenwood and Blakely McDaniel of Woodruff; and her pet Charlotte.
