He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Phillips. He is survived by: his father Lester Phillips; his wife Teresa M. Phillips; his children, Ray Phillips (Tasha), Joshua Kirkland, Tyler Hamby (Emily), Brandi Grover (Eric), Alicia Zietz (Chris) and Madelyn "Madie" Hamby; his grandchildren, Alexandra "Alex" Phillips, Charles "Charlie" Phillips, Brodie Shoemaker-Zietz, Gage Grover, Eliza Grover, Samuel Hamby, John Grover, Evie Zietz, Skylan Woody, Echo Grover, Watson Hamby and Erilyn Grover; his siblings, James "Jimmy" Phillips (Francis), Pat Dublin (Buddy), Martha Scott (Sammy) and Doug Phillips; his close friend Alan Smith; and his pets, Servo, Smoke, Sweetie and Luna.
